Each platform addresses a specific critical area for process efficiency:

Depending on the field of application, the various operational entities within the Step Group adopt certified Management Systems in accordance with major international standards.
These include:
- UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, for process quality
- UNI CEI EN ISO 13485:2016, for medical device management
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022, for information security,
in line with the specific requirements of each sector.

Step is committed to operating in accordance with the highest standards in health, safety, and sustainability, promoting the continuous improvement of working conditions and environmental protection.
Activities are inspired by the principles of the UNI ISO 45001:2018 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standards, applied in alignment with the organizational structure of each operational unit within the Group. In this context, Step is committed to:
- Identifying internal and external factors of its organizational context, as well as the needs and expectations of relevant stakeholders
- Complying with legal requirements and any other applicable obligations concerning environmental protection, health, and safety
- Implementing processes and procedures aimed at reducing environmental risks, preventing pollution, and ensuring prompt emergency response
- Identifying hazards and assessing risks related to work activities and workplaces, implementing appropriate preventive and protective measures
- Maintaining safe and healthy working conditions to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses
- Promoting environmental and safety cooperation with suppliers and contractors
- Raising awareness among all individuals working on behalf of the company about environmental and occupational health and safety issues
- Defining improvement objectives, monitoring risks and environmental impacts, and analyzing the causes of incidents and near misses
- Encouraging worker involvement, participation, and consultation, including their representatives
- Periodically reviewing the management system to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with continuous improvement goals
